ECO-DESIGN

Eco-design at Créaprim is much more than a trend: it is a necessity and a concrete commitment.

We make it a priority to create durable, customisable products that combine quality, aesthetics and respect for the environment.

A holistic approach

Eco-design means considering every stage of a product’s life cycle: from the selection of raw materials to its end of life.

At Créaprim, we have identified several key levers for action:

  • Prioritising recycled materials

    Less virgin resources, more circularity.

  • Local sourcing and short supply chains

Reduced transportation and promotion of European know-how.

  • Reducing chemical treatments

Use of undyed materials and digital printing.

  • Waste optimisation and recyclability

Limiting production offcuts and minimising packaging.

A responsible packaging charter

At Créaprim, we apply a strict packaging charter to reduce the environmental impact of our packaging.

Our priority: to avoid unnecessary packaging whenever the specifications allow it.

When packaging is essential, we make responsible choices:

  • Favour recycled materials: use of recycled plastic polybags (minimum 30%) and FSC Mix paper.
  • Eliminate the most polluting materials: no unnecessary virgin plastic or non-essential chemical treatments.
  • Optimise design: kraft envelopes, FSC labels and glue-free closure solutions to minimise impact.

Our approach is constantly evolving to ensure solutions that are both sustainable and aligned with our clients’ requirements.

An eco-design guide to structure our approach

To go further, we co-created an Eco-design Guide. This true internal reference aims to:

Train our teams

Stylists, buyers, project managers and import teams share a common framework.

Facilitate material choices

A charter identifies the materials to prioritise based on their environmental impact.

Support our clients

Comparison of material impacts to enable responsible decision-making.

Ensure traceability

Care instructions and compliance with supplier commitments.

This guide helps us achieve concrete objectives: in the near future, we aim for 40% of our textile orders to include recycled materials and 20% of our products to be eco-designed according to Créaprim’s eco-design standards.

A long-term commitment in constant evolution

Eco-design at Créaprim goes beyond a guide or a collection: it is a continuously improving process.

We closely monitor innovations to offer durable, customisable products with ever greater positive impact.
